Xiaomi has finally announced the global release of its powerful Redmi Note 14 smartphone lineup.
The successor to the popular Redmi Note 13 series introduces four new models: Redmi Note 14 4G, Redmi Note 14 5G, Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G, and the highly anticipated Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus 5G.
In addition to high-resolution cameras, the devices also feature some interesting AI-powered features. All devices are water-resistant but have some hardware variations depending on the model.
The Redmi Note 14 4G is equipped with a MediaTek Helio G99 hexa-core processor, while the 5G model uses a MediaTek Dimensity 7025 octa-core processor.
Both basic models in the series come with a 6.67-inch AMOLED display, Full HD+ resolution, and a 120 Hz refresh rate. Surprisingly, the 4G model has a slightly larger battery of 5,500 mAh, compared to the 5,100 mAh in the 5G version.
But where the 4G model wins in battery, it falls a bit short in the camera. The smartphone includes a 108 MP main sensor, with 2 MP macro and depth lenses, but the 5G version comes with an 8 MP ultra-wide lens.
As for the more powerful models, the Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G features a Dimensity 7300 Ultra octa-core processor, while the Plus version uses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor, also with eight cores.
Both Pro versions come with 200 MP high-resolution cameras, a curved AMOLED display with a brightness of up to 3,000 nits, 1.5K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 5,100 mAh battery, but the Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus stands out with 120W fast charging support.
